She was a vulnerable person and probably had mental health issues, that's not an excuse for sending hateful messages but maybe the media should think twice and handle situations like this with much more care from now on.

I've not read the replies but my analysis is:

1. If the Troll was giving her opinion then she wasn't necessarily wrong now was she.

2. The way the BBC, etc, reported it smacked of it having been arranged. Like someone has decided "let's say this Troll was Trolling people.

3. She looked like a Troll.

Not saying to do a 'single entendre' joke. But to back up the fact this was staged.

The establishment does get bored.

That's how I got a go on Ricky Branson's daughter (re: Holly Branson post).

Re: McCann "Troll" dead
I find it strange that, had the media not promoted this supposed 'trolling', most people would have no clue about it so no publicity would be made of it and no attention gained.

But SKY decide to hunt her down and tell everyone what she had done, but not what she said, so now people are googling a whole manner of trolling comments they would not have read before. And so it continues. And now she's dead.

Well done SKY, well done twitter. Does the media/law really have nothing better to do? Like catching a child killer and bringing him to justice before he kills himself,

I have never understood Trolling it makes no sense and is pathetic as hell.
I do feel very sorry for this woman who created a tweet that was petty nasty especially as the Mccanns are very much innocent people who just happened to screw up by leaving their children on their own, but that does not mean they should be exposed to stupidity, why this lady felt she had to kill herself i do not understand.

Re: McCann "Troll" dead
Oh, they're definitely guilty of neglect. But it wasn't willful, it wasn't malicious, they just fucked up massively. And they live in their own personal torment every day, and will do for the rest of their lives.

Now what this women, and these people who start up these trolling websites do, is 100% malicious.

Weird fuckers, the lot of them.

It's a sad state of affairs, but this woman obviously knew she had acted like an utter cunt and couldn't deal with the shame.

If only she'd signed up to this board, she could have sought refuge with like-minded sickos and lived out her days in a nasty, but bubble of self-righteousness.

The Kronic

Spot on.

I cannot understand why they have not been prosecuted for child neglect.

I read somewhere that they even met the Pope as some sort of example of being good parents.

Re: McCann "Troll" dead
If I met two parents who wilfully neglected their 3 children to lord it up with their chinless wonder pals in a foreign country I'd call them every fucking name under the sun.

Instead they're treated like royalty with the media firmly in their pockets - and now acting like the Stasi to anyone who dares to coat them off.

The whole thing stinks.

Agreed. Not now we have a world full of social media for the half-brained to fill with their half-baked ramblings.

probably right but in the real world that's never ever going to happen is it?

I am saying that unless we already knew them personally or are involved in some way, it is none of our business to actively poke our nose in. Discuss it with your mates down the pub or on here or whatever, but why send out vitriolic messages that you intend to reach them?

If someone I knew personally was in the same situation, I would presume to offer sympathy until it was proven that they had committed a criminal act, at which point I would cease to.

This would seem to be a normal human response to me.

I assume you feel exactly the same about people who consider them totally blameless and give sympathy based on that?

because they have no idea what happened either

Is it odd that this woman actually looked like a troll??!?!

Bungo 12:00 Mon Oct 6
Re: McCann "Troll" dead
Whatever the McCann's did or didn't do, none of us actually know the full truth about the disappearance.

I would suggest therefore that not peddling vitriol online is a rather more intelligent stance to take, especially as she was no more informed than anyone else not directly involved.

Available FACTS do not cover the entirety of the case and probably never will.

Bungo, the McCanns have freely admitted leaving their 3 children alone in a room in a foreign country. Therefore whatever course of eventsthat followed is their own fault.

The Officer in charge of the investigation with first hand KNOWLEDGE of all the facts available has been sued for daring to believe that the McCanns had a hand in their daugters disappearance.

Many people don't hold the readily available FACTS in high enough regards

Re: McCann "Troll" dead
I'm just amazed that anyone who isn't directly involved in the investigation, with in depth first hand KNOWLEDGE of all of the facts available, has the arrogance to be so sure of their own opinion (presumably based on what they have read in the press and seen on TV), to start directly abusing other people about what they PRESUME they have done.

Many people hold their own ignorant, uneducated opinions in far too high a regard.

How is disagreeing with the way it has been handled peddling hate?

AFAIK she wasn't the one issuing death threats, just very vocal in her opinion of the McCanns guilt. I don't see anything wrong with that. Free speech and questioning what we are being brainwashed into believing is perfectly fine.
Just as people here question our owners, managers, others opinions.

Disgusted how the media have closed ranks and distanced themselves from any wrong doing. They are not the police and they drove a woman out of her home to die.
